 2008 ACADEMIC ALL STATE TEAM

The Illinois High School Football Coaches' Association shall select its annual Academic All State Team this fall. Athletes honored will be sent their award following the state final games.

IN 2007 OVER 300 PLAYERS WERE HONORED

        To qualify for the team a player must:
                     1. Be a member of a varsity team
                2. Be selected as a (First Team) All Conference player
                    Typed All Conference Team must be included with
                    nominations.
                3. Have a current cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 system or a
                    4.5 on a 5.0 system

Note: Independent school athletes will be considered on an individual basis.
